Atspeed - A First Class Rolling Road Tuning Business
A few years back, Essex racer and tuning specialist Alan Thorndyke found himself in one of those periods of life where decisions have to be made, and new directions taken. A reasonably profitable, if otherwise unrewarding, spell in general car repairs and servicing out of Leigh on Sea had been brought to an end due to withdrawal of the lease on the premises (property prices at that time making it more attractive for the owners of the workshop complex to knock it down and build yet more houses for the well-to-do), and with plenty of competition experience - and thus contacts – behind him, and two like-minded sons took the choice, and not inconsiderable investment risk, to set up a first class rolling road tuning business.

2009 Best In Britain
The annual end of season Best in Britain Championships took place at Wimbledon on November 22nd on a blustery and chilly but thankfully dry Sunday evening and the track was even dry by the 5.30pm start time. Big fields of cars produced some excellent racing and spectacular action.
